Our Story
A&M Home Investments was founded with a simple but meaningful vision: to create homes and communities that reflect where people are in life, and where they’re going next.
Behind the company are Alberto and Maria Castro, a husband-and-wife team whose professional journeys span aviation, healthcare, and real estate. Together, they bring a unique blend of precision, care, and long-term thinking to every project.
Together, they’ve built a life rooted in family, hard work, and long-term vision. After nearly three decades of marriage and raising three children, A&M Home Investments represents the next chapter: a shared pursuit of building something lasting.
Alberto holds a BS in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an MBA from Texas A&M University. His career began in aviation, where he built decades of experience in high-performance environments, serving as an aircraft technician, project manager, Director of Maintenance, and then President/Chairman of Houston Jet Direct. His work required attention to detail, disciplined execution, and the ability to manage complex, high-value assets - skills that now translate directly into real estate development.
Maria, a registered nurse trained at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, has spent her career caring for families during some of life’s most meaningful moments. Her work in high-risk labor and delivery, and now as a mother-baby nurse, reflects a deep commitment to people, comfort, and well-being. These values are central to every home A&M creates.
